New for 2024, MeCTA will award four HOY awards as follows:

- 2-phase HOY (Introductory, Elementary, Advanced Elementary)
- 2-phase HOY (Beginner Novice, Novice, Training, and above)
- 3-phase HOY (Introductory, Elementary, Advanced Elementary)
- 3-phase HOY (Beginner Novice, Novice, Training, and above)
What do you need to do?
1. Become a MeCTA member for the current competition year.
2. Declare your horse using the HOY registration form (see page two of the HOY
document above). This must be done every year.
3. Have FUN competing in MeCTA 2-phases and/or 3-phases!
4. To be eligible for 2-phase HOY, you must complete FOUR 2-phase events and
for 3-phase HOY, you must complete TWO 3-phase events.
5. You must also complete at least FOUR hours of volunteering at MeCTA events.
6. Submit your HOY score report(s) by November 30 of the competition year.
